Pictures of Anupamaa's Anagha Bhosale aka Nandini go viral as she leaves the show for spirituality

Telly diva Anagha Bhosale has quit popular TV show 'Anupamaa' and said that she is taking a break from acting to focus on spirituality. Anagha portrayed the role of Nandini, who supported Anupamaa, played by Rupali Ganguly in the show. The actress has returned to her hometown Pune. Anagha shared pictures of herself on Instagram and informed fans that she is going on a solo trip to Jagannath Puri, Odisha. Earlier, while talking about her stint with the showbiz, the actress told ETimes, "After stepping into the industry, I realised that the industry was the opposite of what I expected. There's politics, unhealthy competition, the race to look good and reed-thin all the time, and pressure to post on social media constantly. If you don't do these things, you are left behind. These things didn't go with my thought process." Anagha further added that she couldn't relate to the double standards and the pressure to be something that she's not. "It is filled with hypocrisy. I want to pursue my religious beliefs and attain a sense of peace and contentment in my life," she added. The actress further mentioned that she wants to focus on her spiritual journey and follow Lord Krishna's teachings.
