Devoleena Bhattacharjee ties the knot with her gym trainer Shahnawaz Shaikh, shares first pictures on social media

‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee got married to her gym trainer Shahnawaz Shaikh in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai on December 14, 2022. The actress plans to introduce her husband to the world through a reception soon. Earlier, Devoleena surprised fans by posting pictures dressed as a bride and from various pre-wedding festivities on social media. She had also dropped stunning pictures and videos from her haldi ceremony. Devoleena looked gorgeous in a yellow outfit, traditional Bengali bangles, floral jewellery and mehendi. In one of the pictures, Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s good friend Vishal Singh was also seen applying haldi on her, while she sat with a smiling face with gifts in her lap. Devoleena’s makeup artist also posted a picture of her with ‘bride’ written on it. Devoleena Bhattacharjee played the role of demure Gopi Bahu in ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya.’ While talking about her on-screen persona, the actress said, “The Devoleena you see on social media is the real me. It’s my personal zone. I was never a ghunghat wali bahu in real life. Tomorrow, even if I accept a role that’s similar to Gopi, I would still wear gowns at a public event.
