2022 seems to be a great start for fans of former World No.1 Rafael Nadal as he kick-started the year by winning his 89th tour-level title at the Melbourne Summer Set trophy. The Spanish tennis player made a successful return to competition from a foot injury that kept him out for nearly four months. He claimed the latest title after defeating Maxime Cressy in the final of the ATP 250 event. The victory ensures he has won at least one singles crown every year for the past 19 years. He also took to social media to share his delight about winning the title by posting a photo of himself with the trophy. In the caption, Nadal wrote, "Very happy to be back playing and happy for this new title. Thanks to all the fans for the support. Great to be here." The tennis champion will next be seen at this month's Australian Open. He is currently tied with 20 majors with Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
