Racing champion Alisha Abdullah was drawn into the world of cars after her go-karting experience at the age of nine. Alisha started winning go-karting races when she was only 11-years-old. The gorgeous race car driver has won several accolades including the 'MRF National Go-Karting Championship' and the 'Best Novice Award'. Alisha successfully defeated 12 men in a race when she crossed 190 miles per hour or 285 km/ hour speed mark on a superbike. During an interview, the Chennai based racer said, "I was never fascinated by Barbie dolls and toys like other girls of my age. Cars and bikes were my fascinations. There was never any specific reason for me to decide that racing is going to be my career and life. It is sad that the women of the country show absolutely zero participation and interest in racing tracks. The problem in India is that parents and families ridicule the idea of their women racing cars simply because of the huge risk factor and danger involved.” (Photos: Instagram)
