A total of thirty-one contestants from across the globe competed at the prestigious international pageant. At the event finale, Peru's Varo Vargas was adjudged as the winner. Rahul bested all his fellow participants on the judging parameters to emerge as the most attractive, charismatic and desirable man, who was adjudged as Mister Supranational India 2021. Rahul will participate in Mister Supranational contest, which will be held in Poland on August 21, 2021. Rahul Rajasekharan was born and raised in Bangalore. After completing his graduating in Business Management, Rahul worked in the corporate world before switching his career in modeling and acting. Rahul participated in Mr. India 2015 contest and won the 1st runner-up position. He also made his debut in the Malayalam film industry with the film 'Diwanjimoola Grand Prix' followed by 'Varane Avashyamund.' Both the movies were declared superhits and garnered rave reviews. Apart from being an actor, Rahul is also an athlete, who loves travelling and exploring the world. Rahul Rajasekharan, who is currently in the United Arab Emirates, has officially taken over the title from his predecessor, Mister India Supranational 2019 Varun Verma. Delhi boy Ankit Arora, who was one of the Top 6 finalists of Mr. India 2015 pageant, portrays a pivotal role in the film. Ankit is also a famous model, who has worked with some major brands for several commercials. When enquired about his debut movie, Ankit said, “My character in the film is quite interesting. The handsome hunk defeated 37 other contestants from all over the world in the final round to win the coveted title. Earlier, before leaving for Poland, when enquired about his preparations for Mister Supranational 2018, he had said, “It’s been a year that I’ve been sashed as the Mister Supranational [India] and it’s been going great. You know, I’ve been having trainings with every aspect, everything that I need to get trained in - speech, gym, lot of things and its going great.” Prathamesh feels it is a great pride to represent India in a foreign land. “Everything about my country makes me proud. I am what I am, is because I am representing my country today. I am getting known and all the people like me because I am India’s representative today, and it’s such a proud feeling. I’ve done it on a different platform before, I’ve done it as a footballer I’ve played for India Under- 19 and Under-23 but, this is completely a different platform. But, the honor and the pride is the same, so, I feel proud, I feel really proud,” he said. When enquired what’s common between football and beauty pageant? Prathamesh quipped, “Oh, a lot of thing! There are a lot of things that are common between football and beauty pageant, like, focus, hard work and dedication are the most common things. But again, in both the professions one thing that matters is confidence that will set you apart and, your mental strength. You have to be mentally fit and strong to survive in both the professions.
