Superintendent of Police Nashik Rural Police, Sachin Patil said, “Heena along with others were arrested on Sunday will be produced in court today.” When asked if she (Heena) had consumed drugs, Patil said the blood samples of the actress and other accused have been taken and “We are awaiting the reports.” Asked further if there were any more film or TV personalities arrested he said, “There was no other big star the others were smaller artistes.” In a statement given to ANI, Patil said, “22 persons including 12 women were arrested and several types of drugs were seized from their possession after the police busted an alleged rave party at a private bunglow in Igatpuri hill station of Nashik District of Maharashtra. All have been taken into custody and further investigation is on, during the initial investigation, it has been found that out of 12 women, 5-6 women were actresses working in Bollywood and South Indian films.” There have been instances in the past in Mumbai where film and TV personalities were arrested from rave parties. Reportedly, Aashutosh was suffering from depression for the last few days. When The Times of India contacted Shivaji Nagar police station, Nanded, PI Anant Narute said, "The news came to us around 1.30 pm. We have registered an accidental death report (ADR) as per standard procedure. We have recorded a statement from Aashutosh's father, and he hasn't blamed anyone for what happened. We haven't spoken to any other family members as they are still coming to terms with the loss." Mayuri's co-star in '31 Diwas' Shashank Ketkar, who was shocked to hear the news, says, "I had met Aashutosh a couple of times and was quite fond of him. It is hard to believe that a person like him could take such an extreme step. I don’t know what triggered him to do this. May God give Mayuri and the family strength to bear this loss." I immediately informed others of his behaviour and they asked him to leave the project. All it took was one minute of being fearless -- that day,” the post read. Shruti also recalled an untoward incident when her bikini scene for a Tamil film led to a controversy on social media as several people trolled her. “People have a misconception that actors lead a comfortable life and always feel good about themselves. That's not true. Whether we like it or not, whether we feel right or not, we have to be the best versions of ourselves. There are no 'bad days'. I remember early on in my career for a south film, I was asked to wear a bikini. I agreed without thinking twice. Questions like, 'How are you going to shoot it?' or 'Is it required?' didn't even cross my mind. I was getting an opportunity to be in a film and that's all that mattered. Years later when I gained popularity in a Marathi show, people looked me up and stumbled upon the bikini scene. I was trolled for the way I looked and how it was shot. Do you know how much that damages your self-esteem? I put myself out there without any barriers, but I wasn't accepted; I was objectified.
