She posted a black-and-white portrait of the late designer and wrote: “Nope”. The actress loathed the idea of giving the designer such importance who was against so many rightful notions. She wrote in her caption, "Karl Lagerfeld is the theme for the entire Met Gala next year. This man... was indeed, (sic) supremely talented, but used his platform is (sic) such a distinctly hateful way, mostly towards women, so repeatedly and up until the last years of his life, showing no remorse, offering no atonement, no apology, no help to groups he attacked... there was no explanation for his cruel outbursts. Those groups were women who were sexually assaulted, the entire me too movement, gay couples who wanted to adopt, all fat people, specifically fat women, and some of his greatest harm was against Muslim refugees, (sic) and the disgusting way he spoke about people fleeing their homes for fear of their lives. Why is THIS who we celebrate when there are so many AMAZING designers out there who aren't bigoted white men? What happened to everyone's principles and "advocacy." You don't get to stand for justice in these areas, (sic) and then attend the celebration of someone who reveled (sic) in his own public disdain for marginalized people. Sorry, but no. This isn't the 90s. We didn't fight all this shit just to throw it all away because some white guy made some pretty clothes for people's skinny faves... come on now." Meet Grace Kelly's granddaughter, an Olympic diver and gender-fluid fashionistahttp://photogallery.indiatimes.com/articleshow/87129531.cmsYou must have heard about Pauline Ducruet, the 27-year-old daughter of Princess Stephanie of Monaco. She is no stranger to the spotlight but lately has been upheld as a gender-fluid fashionista. Her royal status is not her only achievement, but Ducruet is more to that. She has led a fascinating life. Some say 'life is a circus' and that was literally the case for Ducruet. In 2001, when her mother began dating an elephant trainer in a Swiss traveling circus, she moved her children into a circus caravan. In a recent interview, Ducruet recalled how she stayed with the circus throughout her mother's 14-month marriage to Adans Lopes Peres, a Portuguese acrobat she met in the caravan. She even used to perform acts. The family returned to the palace after the marriage ended. Ducruet has an Olympic diving background. Athletics is a theme for Monaco royals. Just like her aunt Princess Charlene, who competed in the 2000 Sydney Olympics for swimming, Ducruet is a diver who participated in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in Singapore. Her achievements in sports earned her a nomination for the prestigious 'Sportsperson of the Year' award for the 2009-10 season. Besides sports, fashion runs in her genes. The fact that she is the eldest daughter of Princess Stephanie and granddaughter of Princess Grace Kelly— Hollywood's style icon, it comes as no surprise that Ducruet has a significant interest in fashion. Her first design on the global stage was creating her sister-in-law Marie Chevallier's wedding dress. She runs her own gender-fluid fashion line 'Alter.'
