We had over 500 registrations, comprising mostly members of the queer members and allies. Last year, we had just 150 people participating and it was only a 5k run. However, we realized that not everyone would want to or be able to do a 5k run. So we added more formats like the 3k walk/run so that people of all athletic capabilities can take part,” says Karthic Ashokan, one of the organisers. He further added, “We want to make sports accessible to the queer community. We train together for different marathons within this city and outside. While regular events are for queer members only, special events such as the Pride Run/Walk are for all. This year our main goal is to increase our non-binary and trans membership.”Fri, 23 Jun 2023 16:22:00 +0530BCCLAbishek Ambareesh and Aviva Bidappa’s desi sangeet was a star-studded affairhttp://photogallery.indiatimes.com/articleshow/100961585.cmsIn a grand conclusion of their wedding festivities, Abishek Ambareesh and Aviva Bidappa hosted a sangeet, interestingly called Club Abiva, for their family and industry friends over the weekend.
