The new direction seeks to expand beyond social media to include services like peer-to-peer payments, similar to China's WeChat. However, this change sparked mixed reactions, with critics citing a potential loss of years of name recognition and brand equity. Musk, known for using the letter 'X' across his ventures, aims to transform the global town square under new CEO Linda Yaccarino. Yet, the rebrand could face legal complications due to the widespread use of 'X' in trademarks. While some see this move as Musk imprinting his identity on Twitter, others see it as an acknowledgement of the $44 billion spent on Twitter as a sunk cost. The company will need to reinvent itself amid layoffs, a drop in advertisers, and competition. Critics worry that the rebrand won't solve Twitter's problems and that the new approach may come across as cold and impersonal.Mon, 31 Jul 2023 17:24:20 +0530ReutersApple launches iPad Air, Watch Series 6 and Watch SEhttp://photogallery.indiatimes.com/articleshow/78148662.cmsApple revealed the new iPad Air with industry-first A14 bionic chip along with Watch Series 6 with Blood Oxygen sensor and a cheaper Watch SE on September 15, 2020.
