Indian mom's worldly wisdom on signs goes viral on the internet

Poonam Sapra and her son Pranav from India runs the 'Mother With Sign' Instagram page. Poonam holds up signs with relatable and humorous motherly advice to lead a better life. The mother-son duo started the page eight months ago, and since then their followers are increasing. The Humans of Bombay, which has over 1.1 million followers, have covered them on their social media pages. Amidst the pandemic outbreak, these signs by Poonam are boon in disguise. "This was totally Pranav's idea. He wanted to do this as a mom's take on life and situations. I am having a great time, and this opportunity to express and get so much love that I never imagined. It is a very 'mom' thing to say to carry your raincoat. I think it is striking a chord there because it is so universal." To stay connected to millennials, she stays connected to her loved ones. "There is no conscious effort but spending time with my children, their friends, and my nieces and nephews.
