In pics: Producer Jay Patel’s awarded film ‘I’m Gonna Tell God Everything’ screens at the 50th International Film Festival of India

An Indian-American Jay Patel with a vision to show the world some realistic cinema produced ‘I’m Gonna Tell God Everything’ focusing on the message of nonviolence and anti-war. The film won Best Short Film Award at Norway Film Festival. The film’s special screening was organised at the 50th International Film Festival of India in Goa.

The film is based on true events in the life of a 5 years old Yusuf and his family who were brutally killed by the militants. The story is written by a popular Hollywood writer Katherine King and co-produced by Abhishek Dudhaiya.

Speaking about the screening, Jay says, “We’re glad that our film got so much love and appreciation. And that we could send across the right message. When we were filming this, everyone on the sets was so emotional and put more than 100 per cent into this piece. The screening was a wonderful experience!! Everyone relished it and we are grateful…”

Hari K Vedantam has coproduced this along with being the DOP for this project. The film features actors Essam Ferris, Roman Mitichyan, Toktam Aboozary, Naya Abou Mousa, Faruk Amireh, Hailey Winslow, Robert Tarpinian, Nour Bitar, Vivaan Bisoi, Massa Daoud, Jay Patel, Katherine King, Zein Khleif, Samer Sakka, Afshin De Jesus Hashemi, Omar Amir, Mudit Sachdev, Abe Khalil. Music is given by Snpyesen, Cinematography Film Editing by James Brown, and Casting by Renee Garcia, and Hamzah Saman.
