The deadly corona virus, which has brought the entire world to halt has infected more than 1 million people in India. With everyday new positive cases being registered at the hospitals, India is recording a daily average of 30,000 new cases. India has a huge population of 135.2 croresand the gradual spike in the number of average daily positive cases is a cause of concern.According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has recorded 658 cases per million population. India ranks 106 th as per the countries with positive cases per million population. It has also been identified that earlier hotspots of COVID 19 – Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi in Indiaare now seeing an improvement, with less positive cases. On the other hand, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune have been declared the new urban hotspots.
