In Pics: ‘Shakti- The Inner Power’ Symposium received standing ovation from the audience

The symposium, held on 3rd April 2023 at the PhD Chambers of Commerce & Industry in New Delhi, was a resounding success. Lieutenant Dr. Rita Gangwani applauded the unique presentations. Ms. Rochika Agarwal, Member of the Central Board of Film Certification, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, and a fashion designer, theatre actor, and Kathak dancer, was in attendance. The symposium, titled "Shakti - The Inner Power," hosted by Neelam Gupta and Wini Khurana, provided food for thought on the importance of accelerating gender equality through the empowerment of women, who are the stronger gender. Eminent speakers such as Kiran Sandhu and Sachin Gupta, as well as panelists Shama Soni, Dr. Pramit Rastogi, and Prachi Mehta, participated in a panel discussion on mental health moderated by Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta. The event also featured a "Shakti Walk" by performers such as Somya Thareja as Sita, Isha Sethi as Draupadi, Isha Verma as Mira Bai, Santosh Kataria as Rani Laxmibai, Harshita Kataria as Rani Tarabai, Anita Mahapatra as Mayee Bhago, and Vandana Kharbanda as Sushma Swaraj. Additionally, independent artist and rapper MickyB entertained the audience with his performance. The symposium was a captivating blend of expertise, guidance, and entertainment, with a diverse range of flavors interspersed throughout the event.
