Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a 2018 American science fiction adventure movie directed by J. A. Bayona. It is the sequel to Jurassic World (2015) and is the fifth instalment of the Jurassic Park movie series, as well as the second instalment of a planned Jurassic World trilogy.

After the demise of the Jurassic World theme park on Isla Nublar off Central America's pacific coast, the dinosaurs roam freely on the island for three years[7] until an impending volcanic eruption threatens their existence. Former Jurassic World Operations Manager Claire Dearing creates a dinosaur rescue organization called the Dinosaur Protection Group and teams up with Benjamin Lockwood, the former partner of John Hammond, to bring the creatures to a sanctuary in America.[8] Claire's boyfriend Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer at the park, joins the mission to locate Blue,[8] the last of the Velociraptors that he trained.[9][10] However, after Isla Nublar is destroyed by the eruption, Claire and Owen are betrayed and learn about a greater scheme that emerges when the creatures are being auctioned away at Lockwood's estate. Disaster strikes when an incredibly dangerous and intelligent hybrid dinosaur, the Indoraptor, escapes and begins a reign of terror across the estate.
