Ali Fazal to star opposite Wonder Woman Gal Gadot in Branagh's 'Death on the Nile'
After playing the lead role as Abdul opposite Judi Dench in 2017 Oscar-nominated 'Victoria', Ali Fazal is now all set to team up with the stunning Gal Gadot for Kenneth Branagh's 'Death on the Nile'. The movie's plot revolves around master detective Hercule Poirot, who is on vacation in Egypt and becomes involved in a love triangle gone murderously bad. Fazal will join the cast in the return of Branagh as Poirot, as well as Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer and Letitia Wright. The movie is part of the detective series, which earlier saw the star-studded 'Murder On The Orient Express' in 2017, starring Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp. The cast is set to begin filming in September 2019 in London and parts of Europe. Tentatively, they are aiming for a December 2020 release. The movie script is written by Michael Green, also an Oscar nominee for 'Logan'. 'Death On The Nile' has previously been made in 1978, starring legends, including Bette Davis, Maggie Smith, Mia Farrow and others. (Photos: Instagram)
