South Korean technology giant Samsung has launched its latest 5G-ready smartphone, Galaxy M42 5G, in India with a starting price at Rs 21,999. The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G smartphone comes in two storage variants that includes a 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory model and an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory model, priced at Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999, respectively. The 6.6-inch Samsung Galaxy M42 5G smartphone comes with an AMOLED Infinity-U display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor and houses a 5000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G smartphone comes with Android 11 out of the box and supports One UI 3.1 interface. The device sports a 48MP quad-camera setup, which also includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor. It also comes with a 20MP selfie camera. The camera is equipped with a host of features that include single take, hyperlapse, night mode, super-slow motion, flaw detection and scene optimiser.
