Hyve has launched its flagship smartphone - Pryme, in India. Bearing a price tag of Rs 17,999, the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon. The pre-registrations for the same will start from November 20.

In terms of specifications, the newly-launched Hyve Pryme features a 5.7-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 2.5D curved glass design. It's powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 200GB via microSD cards.

Running stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the dual-SIM Hyve Pryme has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash. There's also an 8MP front-facing snapper on-board.

Hyve Pryme is backed by a 3,500mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C as major connectivity options. It also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that has a 'Touch2Call' feature. This lets users quickly call contacts mapped to their saved fingerprints.

The smartphone has additional MediaTek and software-based features like ClearMotion (for smoother video playback), BluLight Defender (for reducing eye-strain), MiraVision (for enhanced visuals) and Dynamic contrast (for real-time video enhancement).

This is the third smartphone that Hyve has launched within 6 months. Earlier this year, the company launched two smartphones -- Buzz and Storm. While the Buzz is priced at Rs 13,999, the Storm bears a price tag of Rs 8,499.
