On Day 3 of the ongoing India Couture Week 2021 (ICW), eminent fashion designer duo Pankaj & Nidhi Ahuja showcased their immensely stunning work. Their latest collection titled 'Afterglow' symbolizes new dawn with a longing for a bright future and with stellar craftsmanship, to create pieces that are timeless and radiating an effervescent beauty. The designs will leave you in awe of just how beautifully they adorned the traditional lehengas with modern sleeve styles. The collection has exceptional techniques such as origami folding, handcrafted appliqués and latticework in new-age materials with an iridescent sheen. Adopting a path toward sustainability, many of the embroidery materials are themselves fashioned in-house out of excess generated in the process of creation. There are grand one-of-a-kind statement pieces such as trailing jackets and capes, flowing skirts with new blouses in an array of metallic hues such as chromatic gold, pearl pinks, dove greys and ruby reds - inspired by the Afterglow of a sunset lingering on the horizon.
