Meet Sikkim’s policewoman Eksha Subba who is also a biker, boxer, hiker and supermodel

Yes, Sikkim’s Eksha Hangma Subba is one of them, who successfully crossed all the barriers. This 22-year-old police officer by profession is also a biker, a boxer, a hiker and a supermodel. Born in Rumbuk village to Aitaraj and Sukrani Subba, Eksha grew up with many dreams. She always aspired to enter the reality television show ‘MTV Supermodel of the Year’. Eksha also wanted to become a boxer like World Boxing Champion Mary Kom. Eksha’s father helped her to live her dream. He introduced Eksha to the world of boxing. Soon, she was representing her state in boxing at the national level. As the income of Eksha’s father was meager, she joined Sikkim’s police force while pursuing her graduation at the age of 19. Eksha underwent a rigorous training session of 14 months. She didn’t stop there and decided to audition for the MTV show. Eksha donned her very decorated police uniform during the audition and got selected. Business tycoon Anand Mahindra also showered kudos on Eksha and called her superwoman. “The North East is brimming with extraordinary people. I tweeted about Prem from Manipur, India’s ‘IronMan.’ And now, here’s another Superhero; Eksha puts Wonder Woman in the shade! And she’s a biker too. I think we need to get her on a #Jawa.” Since then, Eksha has walked the ramp for several brands,” he tweeted.
