Meet Milind Soman, the fitness icon of India

The iron man of India, a title only 'fitting' to Milind Soman is no surprise. In his 50s, Milind Soman has accomplished so much that most of us only aspire; a New year's resolution to have six-packs like him. Soman's masculinity evokes a sense of strength that everyone can relate to! Some people really do age like fine wine. Especially in India, Soman's appearances at various triathlons and marathons have not only inspired people to take fitness seriously but also has made the youth conscious about their lifestyle. Fitness is a mission for him. He wants the youth of the country to develop, inculcate and take it forward. If today's youth takes his advice seriously, then the country would really benefit from his mission for a fitter world. As a fitness promoter, he runs various marathons endlessly and tirelessly. Apart from being a fitness promoter, he is also the first Indian supermodel of India. He did his Bollywood debut with the film 'Agni Varsha' in 2002. Milind Soman and his ex Madhu Sapre (ex-Miss India), were pulled in a debate decades ago when the pair were in a print promotion for Tuffs shoes; they were only in shoes, wrapped around by python snake. Milind marries to Ankita Konwar in 2018 in Alibaug. Soman is a national swimmer too. Could India ask for a better fitness icon than him?
