With New York Fashion Week making its comeback with the in-person event, the season saw some high-heeled action on the runway. Fashion lovers and celebrities from across the globe kicked off the fashion month by making front-row appearances at NYFW Fall 2022. The big-wig American designer Prabal Gurung blended his love for New York and homeland of Nepal on the runway featuring flower prints imbued with a NY edginess. "It’s a New York love song to Nepal," Gurung was quoted saying in his reports. "It's a celebration of women here and there," added the designer. He further revealed that because of the pandemic, it had been nearly three years since he had been to his homeland. He married dip-dyed prints and textiles from Nepal with a New York City sensibility, from plunging silky tops to fitting mid-length dresses and thigh-high boots.
