The highly-anticipated show at the London Fashion Week opened with a trench. But not the beige that Burberry fans might be used to. Designer Daniel Lee made his debut with his first collection for the house, Autumn/ Winter 2023 at the London Fashion Week. Sticking to the brand's codes, the English fashion designer updated them with fresh colourways and new cuts. Faux fur and feathers, slogan T-shirts and playful duck prints took over the runway. The look that followed continued this theme, with plaids that are far from neutral. And of course, you all would want to keep an eye out for the handbags, which ranged from leather crossbodies to oversized totes and also, hot water bags. Yes, you read that right. Models clutched hot water bottles with a check print that matched their outfits. Dramatic and oversized faux fur hats also featured prominently.
