Melanin beauty Adut Akech walked the ramp when she was just 13!

Born on December 25, 1999, Adut Akech Bior is a South Sudanese model who was introduced by her family in the modelling industry when she was just thirteen. Adut was born in South Sudan and raised in Kenya. When she was 7, she moved to Australia as South Sundanese refuges along with her mother. Being a refugee as a child model, Adut stated in an interview, "We didn't know what a magazine was, and we didn't know much about fashion.… I only discovered the love that I have for fashion when I moved to Australia." Years later she signed her mother agency, Chadwick Models, in Sydney, Australia when she was 16 years old. Since then Adut has walked and shot for campaigns like Valentino, Zara, Moschino, Givenchy, Prada, Lanvin, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Versace. Adut is just 20 and has shot editorials for American Vogue, British Vogue, Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, I-D Magazine, etc. She has about 1 million followers on her Instagram handle and is quite active and raw while posting. In 2019, Adut won 'Model of the Year' award at the British Fashion Awards in London. Another young achievement of Adut was recorded when she was one of fifteen women selected to appear on the cover of the September 2019 issue of British Vogue, by guest editor Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.
