Aspiring model Mahogany Geter was born with lymphedema is the new fashion icon in the market

Mahogany Geter was born with a condition called 'Lymphedema'. Her left leg collected excess fluid in the body's soft tissue, which can only be eased with physiotherapy and a lymphatic drainage massage. Geter's left leg adds roughly 45 kg to her 136 total body weight. The 23-year-old model from Knoxville, Tennessee, has vowed to never have it amputated. Some trolls mock Geter to 'amputate her leg to look better, but she has learnt to ignore them. Geter felt so low about herself for the longest time. It changed once she got older. Her mom, who inspired her to stay strong, made Geter realise how beautiful she is—inside-out! She received loads of support from the online lymphedema community. Her goal is to inspire people to celebrate their differences. "If I ever make it big I want to buy my mother a house and take care of my family, then I'll do everything I can to raise awareness of lymphedema to pay it back to everyone who has ever shown me kindness," she said in one of her interviews.
