The two-day Kajri and Thumri Utsav saw some delightful performances by Kathak artistes. The festival began with a kathak performance by Pt Ravishankar Mishra, who gave an auspicious start to his presentation by dancing on Ganesh vandana. He moved on to the traditional aspects of Banaras gharana by presenting uthaan, amaad and toda. He concluded his performance with Shiv tandav. Giving a perfect accompaniment was Gaurav and Saurav Mishra. Let's take a look at the pictures...
