To commemorate the late Akkalkot King Shrimant Vijaysinhraje Bhosale, Shri Swami Samarth Annachatra Trust (Akkalkot) will organize the first Annual Swami Ratna, Swami Bhushan and Swami Sevak Awards on July 16, 2019. One of the most iconic singers of Bollywood Asha Bhosle will be awarded the first Swami Ratna National Award 2019 and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh. Other icons like Marathi superstar Swwapnil Joshi and poet/lyricist Shri N. D. Manohar will also be awarded the Swami Bhushan State Awards 2019, receiving cash prizes of Rs 1.25 lakh each. A press conference celebrating Asha Bhosle's achievements was held in the presence of Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Shri Janmejayraje Vijaysinhraje Bhosale, Shri Amolraje Janmejayraje Bhosale, Adinath Mangeshkar, Sudhir Gadgil, Krishna Mangeshkar and several media houses at Prabhu Kunj in Mumbai on July 2, 2019.
