Indian Ocean captivates Mumbai audiences with their iconic music

Mumbai’s indie music lovers were treated to an electrifying live performance by Indian Ocean, a legendary fusion rock band that has etched itself into the heart of the Indian music legacy. The concert was held at Dublin Square in Kurla, Mumbai. The band, comprising Rahul Ram (bass guitarist and vocalist), Amit Kilam (drummer, vocalist, and percussionist), Himanshu Joshi (vocalist), Nikhil Rao (guitarist) and Tuheen Chakravorty (percussionist) enthralled the audience with songs from their films like ‘Masaan’ and ‘Black Friday’. Fans enjoyed the performances and sang along to songs like ‘Tu Kisi Rail Si’, ‘Mann Kasturi’, ‘Iss Tan Dhan Ki’, ‘Ma Rewa’, ‘Kandisa’, ‘Tu Hai’ and ‘Bandeh’. Indian Ocean’s matchless soundscape of contemporary rock blended with classical music and jazz, along with their powerful renditions, have garnered love from the fans not only in India but on a global level. This Delhi-based band has been around for over 30 years and is still considered one of the few iconic groups doing fusion music in the independent music scene since the early 90s.
