In 1969, on Max Yasgur’s dairy farm in Bethel, New York, 40 miles southwest of Woodstock, a three-day music festival was held. In protesting against the Vietnam War, those three days were dedicated to peace and music. After that year, it became a cult festival and was regarded as a pivotal moment in popular music history. A similar event was organised at a city club, in which musicians like Gary Lawyer, Luke Kenny, Ratul Shankar and Gabu performed, among others. Let's take a look at the pictures...
