Actress Swara Bhasker and social activist Fahad Ahmad, who tied the knot last month in a court wedding in the presence of their family members and friends, hosted a wedding reception. The starry event was held at Air Force Auditorium in Delhi on March 16, 2023. The event was attended by guests from both political and social circles. Several big politicians such as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leader Jaya Bachchan, Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari among others were seen in attendance, who graced the occasion with their presence. The guests were seen congratulating the newlyweds as they begin a new chapter in their life. Swara took to her social media and gave us a sneak peek of the starry reception. Along with a series of pictures, the actress wrote, “Presenting Mr and Mrs. #SwaadAnusaar.” The newlyweds looked stunning together as they posed for the camera. Swara looked gorgeous in a heavily-embroidered lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, which she paired with heavy accessories, maang tika and her Telugu mangalsutra. On the other hand, Fahad chose an off-white sherwani set. Swara Bhasker's wedding festivities began this month with a fun-filled mehendi, qawwali and sangeet night, Carnatic musical evening and haldi ceremony. The actress is keeping her fans updated as she is sharing a series of beautiful inside pictures and videos from her wedding festivities. Swara and Fahad met at a protest site in January 2020 and fell in love with each other. Announcing their marriage, Swara shared a video with a montage of all the adorable moments of their love story. "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad. It's chaotic but it's yours," she captioned the video. The couple got married on February 16, under the Special Marriage Act.
