This eclectic bunch of Chennaiites attended the Queen’s birthday celebrations, which was hosted by the British Deputy High Commission in Chennai. Sharing pleasantries with each other and striking up conversations with their acquaintances, the guests made themselves comfortable at the do. A few women achievers, who’ve had inspiring career re-launches, were honoured at the event. A silambam demonstration by Aishwarya Manivannan and a dance performance by Swarnamalya Ganesh were the highlights of the evening.
