Actress Payal Rajput, who is seen essaying the titular role in the female-centric film ‘RDX Love’, spoke at length about the dark side of her profession. In an interview with the Times of India, Payal revealed, "That incident had happened after RX 100 released. Someone approached me, promising me roles in huge films. I’ve always been against this trend of expecting sexual favours in exchange of work, so I spoke out against it. But to be honest, such incidents happened to me when I was working for six years in Mumbai and Punjab too. I suspect I will face similar situations in the future as well. The fact is that despite the #MeToo movement, casting couch does exist; not just in showbiz, but every profession." She added, "The only difference is that some have the guts to speak about it, like the many women who did during the movement, and some don’t. I am outspoken and have been vocal about this, I don’t want to gain offers by compromising my integrity.” She further stated, "I don’t care if someone doesn’t give me work because they’re scared I’ll be upfront. There are already many people who don’t like me, some even hate me due to my outspoken nature. But if I don’t like something and someone has a problem with that, I always have a simple solution either they’ll quit doing it or I quit. I have been vocal about casting couch because it’s something I’ve been facing for years. I cannot live with the guilt.
