Sachin Tendulkar receives Order of Australia
Tendulkar, however, is not the first non-Australian cricketer to be made an Order of Australia AM as in 2009, West Indies legend Brian Lara was also made an honorary member for his service to Australia-Caribbean relations by promoting goodwill, friendship and sportsmanship through the sport of cricket.  (BCCL)
