Myanmar doctor Nang Mwe San, who is no less than an internet sensation, has created a storm with her captivating pictures. She made headlines when the Myanmar Medical Council suspended her medical licence stating that she dressed inappropriately. She has been a general physician for the past four years. But she has stopped practicing two years ago to pursue a modelling career. This move to revoke her licence bans her from medical practice. Talking to Reuters, Nang Mwe San said, “I was shocked and very sad. To be a doctor, it was a long struggle.” She added, “Did I dress in sexy outfits when I was meeting my patients? Never.” Myanmar doctor Nang Mwe San further states, “I am not dressed like that when I am treating patients.” “I don't think they should interfere with personal freedoms and it is not their business,” she also said. Nang Mwe San has vowed to appeal against the medical council's decision. The 29-year-old model believes that there are no specific restrictions on dress code in medical ethics.
