Anushka Sharma: Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, has switched to a plant-based diet, according to The Times of India. Since 2015, the actress has been a vegetarian. Anushka Sharma has been named PETA's Person of the Year by animal rights organisation People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Kangana Ranaut: Kangana Ranaut, one of Bollywood's most well-known actresses, became a vegan in 2013. She was once a non-vegetarian. Aamir Khan: Bollywood's Mr. Perfectionist followed his wife's footsteps and changed his eating habits as well. In 2015, Aamir made the decision to become a vegan. After his wife showed him a video about the common ailments caused by eating animal products and how a diet change might prevent them, he made the decision.

Sonakshi Sinha: Because she cares for animals, the Dabangg actress became a vegan. She admitted to losing a lot of weight after switching to a vegan diet and claimed that it boosted her metabolism.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja: Bollywood's very own style diva is known for her outspokenness on animal welfare issues. She was a vegetarian for a long time before becoming vegan. PETA even named Sonam Kapoor Ahuja the "Hottest Vegetarian of 2016." She was quoted in an interview discussing her decision to become a vegan. Shraddha Kapoor: The actress became a vegan in 2019, and when asked about it, she said, ""I think I am a smart eater. I love food, so I eat what I like. I love vada pav so I eat that too, but I also work out. Or else, in the night I may just have soup. But I can’t get too restrictive about my food as it’s an important part of my happiness."
