Sonam Kapoor commands attention in uniquely-draped saree, drops pictures with 'dapper date' Anand Ahuja

It's never a dull moment when Sonam Kapoor decides to dress up. The actress rightly serves the style game, standing true to her fashion icon status. Lately, she has been showcasing her penchant for ethnic outfits with a subtle nod to sustainable clothing. In yet another fashion moment, she radiated royal glam in a uniquely-draped saree from the shelves of designer Ritu Kumar's eponymous label. The saree came in a mustard shade adorned with gold kadhai, green patti borders, sequin embellishments and a heavily embroidered border. Instead of carrying the pallu traditionally, she pleated and tucked it on her waist to give the illusion of a figure-hugging skirt. She wore the saree with a silk blouse and layered it with a velvet waistcoat decked in gold and red brocade embroidery. The actress accessorised her look with boho-chic jewels and posed alongside her husband Anand Ahuja in a slew of pictures. "The most dapper date.. I married a perfect gentleman," she wrote in the caption. Anand was seen in a classic sherwani in white styled with a bandhgala suit that came in the shade of brown.
