Satish Kaushik attended Javed Akhtar’s Holi party a day before his death, pictures go viral

Actor-writer-director Satish Kaushik’s sudden death has left the film industry as well as several of his fans in shock. Satish Kaushik’s best friend and close associate Anupam Kher took to Twitter to announce the sad news. Anupam tweeted, “जानता हूँ “मृत्यु ही इस दुनिया का अंतिम सच है!” पर ये बात मैं जीते जी कभी अपने जिगरी दोस्त #SatishKaushik के बारे में लिखूँगा, ये मैंने सपने में भी नहीं सोचा था।45 साल की दोस्ती पर ऐसे अचानक पूर्णविराम !! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH ! ओम् शांति! 💔💔” Anupam Kher also shared a black and white photo where he and Satish Kaushik were seen together. A day before his death, Satish Kaushik celebrated the festival of Holi with Javed Akhtar and his wife-actor Shabana Azmi at their residence in Mumbai. Satish Kaushik had shared a photo dump of fun-filled Holi party and wrote, “Colourful Happy Fun Holi party at Janki Kutir Juhu by @jaduakhtar @babaazmi @azmishabana18 @tanviazmiofficial .. met the newly wed beautiful couple @alifazal9 @therichachadha @mahimachaudhry1 wishing Happy Holi to everyone 🌹🌹🌹🌺🌺🌺🌺 #friendship #festival # colours #swipe left.” In the pictures, Satish Kaushik can be seen with Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Mahima Chaudhry, and Javed Akhtar. He was seen smiling while posing for the pictures in an orange coloured T-shirt and white pants. Satish Kaushik was born on April 13, 1956. He was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India. Satish Kaushik started his career in theatre. He became a household name as Calendar in Shekhar Kapur’s superhit film ‘Mr India.’ He had also made an impact with movies ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaro,’ ‘Woh 7 Din,’ ‘Mandi’ and ‘ Deewana Mastana.’ Satish Kaushik made a transition to direction with Bollywood film ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.’ ‘Tere Naam’ and ‘Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain’ are some of his popular films as director.
