Morgan Holen selected as Miss Nebraska 2021

Morgan Holen was crowned as Miss Nebraska 2021 during a gala pageant, held at the North Platte HS Performing Arts Center in North Platte, Nebraska on June 12, 2021. Morgan Holen will represent Nebraska at Miss America 2022. Miss Nebraska 2021 Morgan Holen succeeds Miss Nebraska 2019 Allie Swanson as the 2020 edition was cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic. Post winning the coveted crown, Morgan took to her Instagram and wrote, "ABSOLUTELY SPEECHLESS❤️ For as long as I can remember I have looked up to the reining Miss Nebraska. She was poised, articulate, talented and cared deeply about making an impact in her community. I dreamed of one day performing on the Miss Nebraska stage. Profoundly aware of the big shoes to fill, I’m humbled to receive the job of Miss Nebraska. I can’t wait to travel across our great state advocating for mentoring and serving the community. If I make even a fraction of the impact on Nebraska like the women before me, I will have done my job. This year is for all those who dream big and dare greatly! All glory to Him! We’re going to the 100th Anniversary of Miss America! Follow the journey @missamericane ✨." Morgan Holen is not new to the world of pageantry. She has won Miss Nebraska's Outstanding Teen 2014. She was adjudged as the fourth runner-up at Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2015 and finished at Top 10 during the Distinguished Young Woman 2016. (All photos: Instagram)
