Flight attendant and beauty queen Christine Angelica Dacera raped and murdered

In a horrifying incident, the former runner-up Miss Silva Davao 2017 and finalist in Mutya ng Davao 2019 beauty pageant Christine Angelica Dacera was found dead in a bathtub at the four-star hotel City Garden in the city of Makati, Philippines. The 23-year-old Christine, who has a degree communications from the University of Philippines, currently worked as a flight attendant for Philippine Airlines. The police, which suspected gang rape, are on the search for 11 suspects, though 3 people were caught, the other eight are still on the run. Christine's body had cuts and abrasions on the legs, including sperm stains that suggest rape; however, the detectives are awaiting an autopsy report. The tragic incident has infuriated all of the Philippines, highlighting the issue of women's consent.
