Elle Smith selected as Miss Kentucky USA 2021

Elle Smith, who was crowned as Miss Kentucky USA 2021 during a gala night at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, has now become the official representative of Kentucky at Miss USA 2021. Miss Kentucky USA 2021 Elle Smith succeeds Miss Kentucky USA 2020 Lexie Iles. The diva bested forty-five delegates to win the coveted state title. Elle is a graduate from the University of Kentucky’s School of Journalism, who had joined WHAS11 News and covered stories throughout southern Indiana. Post winning the crown, an elated Elle took to her Instagram and wrote, "I am still in disbelief that tonight just happened. I am humbled and thrilled to be your Miss Kentucky USA 2021." While Elle Smith was crowned as Miss Kentucky USA 2021, Veronica Chisholm was sashed as the first runner-up, Rebecca Cook was adjudged as the second runner-up, India Marks became the third runner-up and Kristen Bach was chosen as the fourth runner-up. Along with crowning of Miss Kentucky USA 2021 Elle Smith, Kennedy Mosley was selected as Miss Kentucky Teen USA 2021 and will represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021.
