Miss Universe 2022 winner is USA's R'Bonney Gabriel, see breathtaking pictures from the crowning moment

The 71st Miss Universe pageant was held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Contestants from over 84 countries participated in this year's pageant. At the end of the event Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu crowned her successor, Miss USA R'Bonney Gabriel. She dazzles in a sparkling gown at the finale evening and styled it with statement jewels. The pageant was hosted by Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Cageantpulpo. Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel wears many hats. She is a fashion designer, model and sewing instructor. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design with a Minor in Fibers in 2018 from the University of North Texas. Gabriel is currently the CEO of her own sustainable clothing line, R’Bonney Nola. Meanwhile, Miss Venezuela Amanda Dudamel is the first runner-up and Miss Dominican Republic Andreina Martinez was crowned as the second runner up. India's Divita Rai reached to top 16 but missed out on the beauty pageant.
